Board of Education Re-Organizational
Meeting
July 17, 2007
The Board
of Education of Independent School District #330 held its re-organizational
meeting on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in the

moved, seconded by Diemer, to:
a. Set the salary of the chairman,
Stenzel, at $20.00 per meeting.
b. Set the salary of the clerk,
Liepold, at $25.00 per meeting.
c. Set the salary of the treasurer,
Diemer, at $10.00 per month.
d. Set the board members salary to
$30.00 per meeting.
e. Appoint census taker, Betty Hill,
and set salary at $250.00 per year.
f.
Set
the meeting date, time and place to be 7:00 p.m. on the Third Tuesday in the
Board Room in

carried unanimously.
Diemer
moved, seconded by Kruger, to:
a. Select the Tri-County News as the
official newspaper.
b. Select the official banks to be the
First State Bank of Okabena for payroll and the Heron Lake State Bank for all
other accounts.
c. Select Eide Bailly as the school
district auditor.
d. Approve the annual delegation of
Business Manager to make electronic funds transfers.
e. Set activity admission fee of $6.00
for adults and $4.00 for students.
f.
Set
the annual activity pass at $50.00 for adults, $30.00 for students and Sr.
Citizens and $160.00 for the family pass.
g. Set the student activity fee at
$40.00 per athletic activity, $30.00 for fine arts activity, with a family
maximum of $200.00.
The motion
carried unanimously.
Stenzel
moved, seconded by Liepold, to authorize petty cash of $600.00 at the
elementary school. The motion carried
unanimously. Hesemann moved, seconded by
Diemer, to authorize revolving fund of $10,000 for the High School Office. The motion carried unanimously.
Kruger
moved, seconded by Liepold, to set the school business expenses per diem at
$35.00 per day meetings, and $20.00 per evening meetings. Meal expenses per diem are set at $6.00 for
breakfast, $7.00 for lunch, and $15.00 for dinner. The motion carried unanimously.
Hesemann
moved, seconded by Diemer, to set hot lunch fees:
Elementary $1.50
High School $1.80
Adult $2.80
Milk .25
The motion
carried unanimously.
Kruger
moved, seconded by Liepold, to set the technology fees at $15.00 for the
Elementary School and $25.00 for the High School. The motion carried unanimously.
Hesemann
moved, seconded by Kruger, to adjourn the Re-Organizational Meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
