Board of Education Regular Meeting
March 20, 2007
The Board of Education of Independent School District #330
held its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in the
John Stenzel, chairman, called the meeting to order at 7:00
p.m. A quorum was declared with all
members present. Kruger moved, seconded
by Volk, to approve the agenda with the additional items. The motion carried unanimously. Hesemann
moved, seconded by Diemer, to approve the minutes of the February 20, 2007
regular Board meeting as presented. The
motion carried unanimously. Hesemann
moved, seconded by Liepold, to approve the Treasurer’s report. The motion carried unanimously. Volk moved, seconded by Kruger, to approve
the payment of the bills. The motion
carried unanimously.

Mathias then gave the TEAM report. On March 30 the student council will be
giving the elementary school a movie day for winning the Stuff-The-Bus food
drive. Kindergarten conferences will be
on March 27. First and second grade teachers
will also be having conferences on April 10-11.
MCA II testing will begin on April 16.
Stenzel moved, seconded by Diemer, to approve the ’07-’08
school year calendar. The motion carried
unanimously. Diemer moved, seconded by
Volk, to approve the amended ’06-’07 school year. The motion carried unanimously.
Diemer moved, seconded by Hesemann, to approve an open
enrollment elementary student from the Brewster District for the’07-’08 school
year. The motion carried
unanimously. Stenzel moved, seconded by
Hesemann, to approve the open enrollment of two secondary students from the
Windom District for the ’06-’07 fourth quarter.
The motion carried unanimously.
The 1996 Windstar minivan was involved in an accident and
was declared totaled. Hesemann moved,
seconded by Diemer, to authorize advertising for bids for a new minivan. The
motion carried unanimously.
Superintendent Cselovszki read the resignation request
from
Superintendent Cselovszki reminded the Board that our next
regular meeting will be on Monday, April 16, following a Meet-and-Confer at the
Elementary School in Heron Lake.
Volk moved, seconded by Kruger, to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
